Mexico City International Airport has been closed because of a massive earthquake measuring 7.1 causing significant damage to buildings and infrastructure around the airport.

Hopefully, it won't be anywhere near as bad as the one in Mexico in 1985 when many people lost their lives.

Fingers crossed that this turns out to be relatively superficial damage to the airport although clearly there has been some destruction.
