Re: Jet 2

Hi

The lastest rumour doing the rounds is that Jet2.com are to next week hold a press meeting up at Newcastle Airport to announce upto 8 new routes to commence from Summer 2010 with a second B757-200 been stationed there. The new routes mentioned so far included Kos and Heraklion-Crete.

Re: Jet 2

Is the new B752 a complete new addition to the fleet or are they moving a current aircraft from another base?

Re: Jet 2

If they get 2 new 757's as rumoured, they will not need to pull one from LBA, and MAN can get an additional one as well.

I do hope that NCL gets new routes. It has had a bad time over the last few years.

Re: Jet 2

I would imagine is that `rumour` of PM getting 2 x new B757-200's, he would not be getting any B767's aswell, or looking at changing some of his aged B733's either.

Jet2 are to operate 2x special 3 night Christmas shopping trips from Newcastle to New York-Newark again this coming December 2011.

Flights will depart Newcastle on Thursdays 01st and 8th December.

LS075 NCL 08:00 EWR 11:00
LS076 EWR 22:00 NCL 10:00

The New York trips obviously works well for them as Jet2 seem to increase the number of flights from year to year (albeit from different bases)
