Maybe Ian has nothing better to do.
You could always put the Christmas tree up, it is 2nd December.
The Christmas tree is going up as we speak !
Yes two Japanese Dash 8s on Sunday
But keep the thread open as I would not rule out a ‘real’ flight at some point there was a rumour of a few ANA788s in S18 but it has gone quiet

Swiss A321 HB-IOM arrived recently from Zurich.
FR24 is showing tomorrow mornings flight as CS300 HB-JCA which wears the Romandy Livery.
Norwegian 787 LN-LNH due in the next few minutes.
If anyone dares brave the early morning cold D-AIZX is showing as night stopping, this wears the *****5Starhansa Livery.
Think I’ll pass on that one!
A6-EUY arrived at 10:56 from MAN
A6-EOY arrived at 13:55 from DXB
A6-EOX should be due around 17:00 from MAN
A6-EDJ is due at 19:11
Four A380's in one day
VT-ANC is also on tonight's Air India.
With regard to this, does anyone know if the pax on the two A380's that nightstopped at MAN remained on the aircraft or were given hotel rooms?
Giving them hotel rooms, would have required customs clearance, whilst baggage may have remained on the aircraft, further complicating matters on arrival back at BHX.
Overnight on an A380 in business class might not be too bad, but for those in economy it would not have been pleasant (I'm 6ft3 so anything over 3 hours or so in an economy seat can becme somewhat painful).
Also, how many A380's were eventually on the deck at BHX at the same time?
Great credit must also go to the staff not only at BHX (for their endevours in getting the airport operational), MAN (for the extra work involved with handling the diverts) and all the other airports around the country who put in so much effort throughout extremely difficult weather conditions.
All timings are from FR24 so any more accurate corrections are welcome.

I appriciate there was a lot of snow to clear and things would be busy, but that’s some really long turn around times on those flights!
Very early days so things may well change but FR24 currently shows a Turkmenistan 777 tomorrow.
EZ-A778 operated Ashgabad today.
Brussels A320 OO-SNG is night stopping.
Tomorrow mornings Turkish is on an A321.
Another 777 for Turkmenistan today.
Also A320neo D-AINJ due at 12:50 from FRA.
Turkmenistan used a 777 yesterday (20th Dec) and will be using another tomorrow (22nd Dec).
Lets just say that they are definitely needed
I heard Turkmenistan carried over 290 pax outbound from BHX yesterday ...only a few empty seats?!
Where are they all going, surely not sunny Ashgabat!
