Re: Ryanair flights to Bremen

It makes sense to operate thinner routes from Manchester because of the catchment areas. Jet2 do this with their Budapest service because the route isn't popular enough to operate from all it's northern airports.

Ryanair really annoy me when they expand only because of growth of another operator.

So true and looking at the wider picture I think this maybe because the Irish "significantly reduced" their flight tax to encourage growth.

Ryanair are to launch Liverpool to Milan Malpensa from October 2017 3 times per week. This will be the second Milan link in 2017, with an earlier launch by Blue Air to Milan Bergamo.

Have to see are pretty competitive. Certainly a lot of capacity from NW to Milan now. I remember when it was one Alitalia DC9 and one BA BAC1-11 per day. Flybe may first casualty, on Manchester to Milan.

I don't know about that they seem to compete. It may be Flybe appeals to a different customer base than the other airlines and it's loads get topped up codeshares as well.

Well will see, its a lot of capacity FR from LPL/MAN, EZY from MAN, BE from MAN and BLUE from LPL. Price is what most look at these days. Flybe has the smallest aircraft, I've always find them a very chop and change airline.

I would tend to go along with that. Flybe seem to be forever chopping and changing routes. I see no harm in experimenting if they believe something will work better but Flybe never seem to let routes settle. New routes are chopped before they have had chance to bed in and settle down. Even established routes seem to have their times constantly altered.

Is Ryanair any better?

Yes that what I've observed, they don't seem to give route time. Ryanair are a bit like that too, but I think they tend to give route a longer crack, but I'm sure they have airports over a barrel anyway !

I think any casualty will be Blue Air and Ryanair will probably go after Easyjets passengers as well. Flybe have said that 50% of their passengers tend to be business passengers who may not be so price conscious.

Good to see the airlines continued commitment to Liverpool airport.

Ryanair are receiving 90 plus load factor on Liverpool to Prague, so you do wonder why Czech Airlines didn't manage to make a better go of the same route. I think Ryanair is offering a better frequency, plus there is the public awareness factor of Ryanair over Czech Airlines. I flew on the Czech service last year, and found it pretty good, plus the flight I was on had good load factors, maybe they should have hung in a bit !!

The 5th Ryanair based aircraft arrived on the 30th, will help with early morning departures to Malaga,Bari,Cork, Faro and Cork.
