    Airport Experience (Reviews & Opinions)

Totally agree with you, awful place to fly from. Only a last resort for me.

FAO, PMI, ALC, AGP, flights would not be great! We already have them, lots! We need NEW destinations, I am sick and tired of trekking over to MAN for flights not served by LBA.

This venture was always going to end in tears! Lots of discussion previously on the poor decisions made. Maybe an opportunity for somebody completely new to have a go, surely there must be some potential from LBA.

Cape Verde is "only" about 150 miles further than Larnaca, Cyprus from LBA

Play transatlantic may be ok for Baltimore, Boston or Washington if you are not in a hurry and don't mind waiting for connections. But New York is Stewart International Airport which is 60 miles from New York City and no subway or direct railroad, so travel there I suspect would be time...

I think there has been too much nonsense concerning BE. All I hear are negatives and more negatives. Time they disappeared from LBA unless anyone can give me a sound business reason why they should still be operating here.

This is not a good situation, too many operators on similar routes just dilutes the profits that each make. Should only be one operator to City and one to International.

    Ryanair

Does it matter about Ryanair, if the route is such a money maker, someone else will quickly fill the void.

    Ryanair

It doesn't make sense to have two aircraft types at the same base unless the seating capacity is the same for operational reasons. Is there a seating difference between the usual Ryanair 737 and the new 737 Max?

Sherburnflyer So an airline or country says "no vaccine, no fly", so are you having your holidays at home then, in line with your no jab principles?

    Aer Lingus

Can't remember what we got to eat but it started with a snack and drinks, then main meal, then another snack and drinks, all included in the ticket price. I ate and enjoyed all of the things served so no complaints about the food. Seats were comfortable and had built in audio/video so good...
